Schedule for success. Scheduling 2% less than the target is how we lose guests and good employees. I guarantee you that if you can beat labor target by 2%, they will make next year's plan based on your actual labor plus some improvement because they will say your team is more experienced and can do more.

I used to hate sending people home, it was always the same girl who did the mid shift, so I couldn’t get rid of the opener or the closer. So she had to go. Unfortunately it just makes that person hate coming to work which is understandable.
