He was the son of Imam Ali al-Hadi (A.S.) and the father of Imam Muhammad al-Mahdi (A.S.), the awaited Imam and Savior of humanity. His blessed life was a shining example of faith, patience, wisdom, humility, worship, and steadfastness in the path of Allah. The title “Al-Askari” is associated with the military cantonment of Samarra, where Imam (A.S.) spent much of his life under the close surveillance of the Abbasid authorities. Despite severe restrictions and political pressure, the Imam (A.S.) continued to guide his followers, strengthen their faith, spread knowledge, and preserve the teachings of the Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W.) and his Ahlul Bayt (A.S.). His life teaches us that true leadership is not measured by worldly power or authority. Imam Hasan al-Askari (A.S.) demonstrated extraordinary patience in difficult circumstances and remained devoted to Allah even when surrounded by oppression and hardship. His words and conduct continue to inspire believers to remain truthful, patient, humble, and faithful. One of the most important aspects of his legacy is his role in preparing the followers of Ahlul Bayt (A.S.) for the Ghaybat of Imam al-Mahdi (A.S.).
