@bybaochaule: RESPECT EVERY VOICE. When someone works in a second language, they may be explaining complex ideas, helping customers, or leading a team in a language they spent years learning. That takes skill, persistence, and courage - especially when their pronunciation gets more attention than their ideas. An accent tells you very little about someone’s expertise. Listen closely, and you may hear years of experience, thoughtful solutions, and a perspective you hadn’t considered. Give people time to finish. Ask respectfully when you need clarification. Take their contributions seriously. And if you’re the person working in a second language: your knowledge matters. Your contribution counts. Your voice belongs in the room.
