@briancarroll1306: I recently sat down with fellow McGill Method Master Clinician and Doctor of Physical Therapy Joe Camisa to talk about back pain, cumulative load, bracing, fascia, dry needling, microcurrent, and what really goes into individualized rehab. One of the biggest takeaways is that more is not always better. More bracing, more volume, more mobility work, or more “corrective” exercises can all become part of the problem if they are not appropriate for the person in front of you. We also get into how Joe has taken principles from the McGill Method and applied them beyond the lumbar spine to the shoulder, hip, knee, ankle, and other areas of the body. If you are dealing with persistent pain or trying to better understand how loading, movement, and recovery all fit together, this is a conversation worth watching.
