Allah doesnt always give us what we want, he gives us what we need. I have 2 older daughters and then a son. I wanted a boy as my first (don't ask why) but when my eldest daughter was born, I truly learnt what love was when I laid my eyes on her. She's made me a better human in every single way. May Allah preserve you both, keep the banter alive, serve your husband, serve your wife, and just continue to grow and be better for one another. Raising children doesn't need to be hard - it's all perspective. Have a positive mindset with everything and watch how your little one blossoms. And most importantly, watch how your marriage blossoms. Be kind in your voice, in your words for one another. Women will have a visible struggle, and the man will have a hidden struggle. Show mercy and patience to one another.
