@the.old.guy2: 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐖𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐍𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐘𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐀 - The Presidential Guard Brigade has emerged as the overall winners of the Nyanga March Platoon and Shoot competition held this Friday in Nyanga. The competition, which returned this year after a 7-year hiatus, was hosted at the All Arms Battle School's Principal Training Area - Border Camp. It drew platoons from across all formations and units of the Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA). Troops competed in various events including map reading, battle shooting, obstacle and river crossing. The Commander of the Zimbabwe National Army, Lieutenant General Asher Walter Tapfumaneyi, was the guest of honour. He witnessed the events and presented awards, prizes and shields to the excelling platoons. The competitions are held annually to test the ZNA's readiness to conduct combat operations in various terrains and operational areas.
