I think to be disabled in some way and then mock the idea that a person couldn’t afford a diagnosis is wild. Like from being in that position, you think you’d be more aware how inaccessible medical care is for so many people.

I have elhers danlos and I would say the most annoying thing is that I can't get proper treatment because my insurance doesn't cover the expensive doctors and specialists, not people on tiktok trying to figure it their bodies lol 😭

And there were people in her comments who were “actually diagnosed” trying to dismiss others with the same diagnosis as them because their personal anecdotal experience didn’t align with the severity of other people’s experience of the disorder—as if there aren’t different degrees of severity and variations in daily impacts that can be attributed to any given diagnosis 🙄
