@sheldricktrust: Four years ago today, we rescued Mwinzi at the height of the drought. He was barely alive, a comatose calf dwarfed by the parched landscape. Then he chomped down on his rescuer’s finger – and we knew there was life in him yet! On his fourth #Rescueversary, we recognise just how far Mwinzi has come. Now a sturdy, sunny young bull, he has graduated to Ithumba, where he is taking the next steps on his journey back to the wild.  Learn more: https://www.sheldrickwildlifetrust.org/orphans/mwinzi #elephant #animals #animalrescue #sheldricktrust #wildlife

Awe-inspiring work that you all do. Mwinzi going back to the wild means he can show them all the dance moves you keepers taught him. The best way to run when you have an ostrich at your back,. hah🌷 They'll be in love right away.😊💞
