@washingtonpost: Two paintings by French painter Claude Monet went on public display for the first time in Paris ahead of an October auction. The painting “Iris” is estimated to sell for $25 million, the highest pre-sale estimate ever given to a painting at auction in France, according to Sotheby’s.
