Not going to lie the Germans had great engineering, but they failed to mass produce on a scale that could help them. Take the Panzer Maus VIII. The idea for the time was pretty good but ultimately scrapped. Even better was the Me 262. The first modern jet fighter. It was faster than most planes of the time but failure to mass produce it was the downfall of Germany

The Luftwaffe was nuts, even outnumbered they still chose to fight, not many others would do that, especially when desertion became more prominent.
