We have a daughter (currently 12) in a wheel chair. She can move around the camper with some help but we keep a chair inside. We took the half bath in the toy hauler tore out the foldable door and wall and framed in a room big enough to get her chair in and out. However now we are looking for a ramp or lift because she's gotten to big for my wife or I to transfer her from outside to inside the camper

My husband encountered a neighbor on a campground this year. He was wheelchair bound and completely unprepared and he was unsuccessful. It can be successful but there must be planning in advance

I’m an ambulatory wheelchair user. Thank you for addressing this issue. I’ve seen motor homes with wheelchair lifts. They exist but like everything Ada it comes at a higher cost. I use a foldable electric trike to get around campgrounds.
