We start looking to the same people who disturbed us to restore our peace. We wait for the apology, the explanation, the validation, the closure. Or we go searching for someone else who can make us feel calm again. But people were never meant to carry that responsibility. أَلَا بِذِكْرِ اللَّهِ تَطْمَئِنُّ الْقُلُوبُ Disturbance may come through people, but tranquility comes from Allah. The heart settles when it remembers that Allah sees what happened, knows what was said, understands what was meant and remains in control even when people do not. Your peace was never in their hands.
