i think thats about 50% because if there is 100% a boy and the other child is unknown while both could be born in any day of the week than it just depends if the second child was born a girl or a boy

You can have 1st girl born on Tuesday and second girl born on any of the 7 days so 7 possible combinations or you can have 2nd Girl born on Tuesday and first girl born on any of the 7 days so another 7 combinations. 14 total. But you counted Girl born on Tuesday and Girl born on Tuesday twice. So you subtract that to get 14-1=13 then you add the number of possibilities the 1st or 2nd child was a boy born on any day and you get 14. So 13/(13+14)=13/27

how are we supposed to know this like the possibility of the other son as many has said is 48% doesn't make sense to me as the fact the first was born on a tuesday makes no difference they could of been like 5 years apart

50% cause you need to look at how its wrote. „At least one *is ~a boy born in tuesday~*” so both children are boys and one was born on tuesday or there is a boy and a girl born together in the same day of the week. And if you still have problem with understanding of it - its always 50% even if there would be a question just about two kids
