I have anxiety and my mind always goes to the worst case scenario so if my hubby is going to be late he lets me know. my kids are adults and if I'm expecting them and they're gonna be more than a few minutes late they let me know.

I dated a guy that FLIPPED out if I asked if he'd be home for dinner. What I meant was "Do I need to make enough food for you?" What he heard was "I'll make your life miserable if you're not home for dinner." That relationship didn't last long!!

Let's put the help part to the side. I would simply be worried if something happened to him when my husband is very late and I can't get a hold on him! And my husband would do the same.
