The problem is that she didn’t have a translator, unlike Miss Japan, for example, who answered exclusively in Japanese and still made it into the Top 3. Inès nevertheless made the effort to try to formulate an answer in English… an effort that Miss Japan didn’t have to make, since her question was translated into Japanese and her answer in Japanese was translated on stage through the microphones. It just goes to show that beauty pageants really are fake; it’s not a myth!!! You can imagine that this Miss knows perfectly well that she doesn’t speak English fluently. She was therefore there with a translator, yet they refused to allow the translator access! For a competition that claims to promote values such as equality, this is absolutely outrageous… You only have to look at the footage of the Q&A round involving the Top 6 to understand everything. To this day, I still don’t understand why this didn’t cause a scandal. I’m absolutely stunned!
