as sad as it was for the character, I really respect horror movies comfortably ending a movie without a happy ending (or a fake happy ending that then goes bad) The suspense of the antidote being thrown the lab around created the best build up

Like even after finding out it wasn’t in fact, a heart for a little kid or a brain for a mom, he still followed through…scared and confused and totally unequipped to do it, he did it. 😭
