One of the biggest things I’ve learnt as I’ve got older is that some of the happiest moments of your life are better experienced quietly. When I was younger, I think there was always this temptation to share everything. Where you’re going. What you’re buying. What you’re building. Who you’re speaking to. What’s coming next. But eventually you realise that not everything beautiful in your life needs an audience. Some blessings grow better when they’re protected. There’s something incredibly peaceful about making moves that nobody knows about. Working on something quietly. Making du’a for something quietly. Watching Allah open doors for you quietly. And not feeling the need to prove to the world that your life is moving forward. Because the older you get, the more you realise that people don’t always need access to you. Some people genuinely love you. Some people will genuinely make du’a for you. Some will compare themselves to you. Some will envy you. And most people will simply scroll past and carry on with their lives. So why expose every blessing before it has even had the chance to settle? You don’t need strangers validating the life Allah has given you. Buy the house. Get the promotion. Build the business. Find the person you want to marry. Make your plans. But learn to enjoy things privately too.

برج الساعة في مكة المكرمة، أو برج مكة، يعتبر من أشهر وأبرز المعالم في المملكة العربية السعودية، ويقع بجوار المسجد الحرام في قلب مكة. يتميز البرج بتصميمه الضخم والفاخر، وتعلوه ساعة مكة الشهيرة التي تُعد من أكبر الساعات في العالم، لذلك أصبحت جزءًا مميزًا من شكل مكة وأفقها. البرج جزء من مجمع أبراج كبرى يُعرف باسم أبراج البيت، ويضم فنادق ومرافق ومحلات وخدمات متنوعة تخدم زوار مكة والمعتمرين والحجاج. ومن أكثر الأشياء التي تلفت النظر فيه واجهته المميزة والساعة العملاقة الموجودة في أعلى البرج، والتي يمكن رؤيتها من مسافات بعيدة. ويكتسب برج الساعة أهمية خاصة بسبب موقعه القريب جدًا من المسجد الحرام، حيث يزوره ملايين المسلمين من مختلف أنحاء العالم لأداء الحج والعمرة والصلاة في المسجد الحرام. كما يوفر البرج إطلالات مميزة على مكة، خصوصًا على المنطقة المحيطة بالحرم. وأكثر شيء يميز برج مكة بالنسبة لي هو أنه يجمع بين الطابع المعماري الحديث وروح المكان المقدس، فأصبح مع مرور الوقت واحدا من الرموز البصرية المعروفة لمكة المكرمة، وخصوصًا عند رؤية المدينة من بعيد أو مشاهدة صور المسجد الحرام.
