@innamartynovaweddings: One of the most common questions I get from couples is: “What if there are no appointments available at Sarasota Courthouse?” First, don’t stress. So far, not a single one of my couples has missed their wedding because they didn’t have an appointment. In my experience, you can usually still be accommodated, you may simply need to wait a little longer depending on how busy the courthouse is. If you want to minimize the wait, mornings and weekdays are usually the easiest. Fridays tend to be more popular, especially later in the day, so keep that in mind when planning your timeline. Another little tip: if you have a specific amount of photography coverage booked, arrive about 15–20 minutes before your scheduled photo time. That gives you a little buffer to take care of the paperwork and any possible wait without cutting into your ceremony or portraits. Sarasota Courthouse also has an outdoor ceremony option if the historic ceremony room is especially busy. Personally, I always recommend the indoor room when possible because it’s beautiful, historic, and gives us more variety for photos.
