Not your typical wedding. The groom @Dino Lara | Vinyl Audio , the bride @Karen Lara | Breastpumpqueen their kids, me, and my hairstylist @Dalja Galino just us during the preparations. No photographer. No videographer. No fuss. The only goal: to exchange vows, their “PANGAKO” on a rooftop, with the sunset as their witness. That’s it. Simple, intimate, and full of meaning. Chillest preps ever. Like… DANGEROUSLY CHILL.😭 Don’t get me wrong… I don’t like super early call times because I work fast. But this one? Next level. The wedding ceremony was at 5 PM, makeup started at 2 -2:30ish , and at exactly 2:05PM the groom was still planning to go out for a haircut. No reservations. No booking. Just vibes and faith in the universe. Deep inside, I was panicking because aside from the bride, I was also doing makeup for their two daughters. Not to mention grooming for the groom ha. Pero that’s Dino!!!! That’s him. Super chill, paired with the grandest level of procrastination 😂😂😂 During the prep, bride Karen asked me just one question: “Waterproof ba makeup mo?” I replied, “Kahit mag-swimming ka pa.” And true enough… cry fest ang nangyari. Unlimited tears. 😂😭 Even though the makeup was quick… literally! I shared such a tender moment with Karen. (Sa’min na lang yun) She cried while thanking me, and of course, I cried too. One of those soft, quiet moments that suddenly hit you and remind you why you love doing what you do. No glam, no rush… (though I feel rushed deep inside) just real emotions… I may not have witnessed the ceremony itself, but I know deep down you two were at your happiest! Married, in love, with the people who matter most, and a sunset sealing the deal. Basta isa lang masasabi ko: binigay ni Karen yung dream wedding ni Dino.😂 And honestly? That kind of love.. simple, selfless, and full of heart is the most beautiful kind of all.
