One suggestion from an International mechanic(7.3 L is the same in Ford and International). Remove oil pan. Reseal dipstick fitting that goes through oil pan and reseal the oil pan. There is no pan gasket, only RTV. Use grey from either Ford house or an International dealer. Both are notorious for leaking. May not be a bad idea to replace rear main seal since it’s accessible.

Boys just love to be busy and tinker. I have one child, he has been in the garage with his dad and grandpa always. They took the time to let him try everything and made him help when he didn’t want to sometimes. At 27, he will tackle anything. Love handy men, we learn by default and helping as well. Great family, always find myself watching the full video.

You will be surprised at how well easy off oven cleaner works. If he’s going to blast it again run to the dollar store and grab some, let it sit and wash it off. Also my vote is grabber green for the paint 😁
