Calling it a worse Grand Abolisher is just strictly untrue and dumb 😭, not only is the casting cost much more forgiving, it also extends the effects onto spells you cast on other people's turns

it's not the same. can't be countered doesn't mean "can't be responded too" if you cast a pongify that creature is dead. period. even if I can't counter pongify I could redirect it's target or gain control of it or make my creature indestructible or whatever. split second literally means "this happens. what now"

it's definitely not worse than grand abolisher, since it works on anyone's turn. it also prevents things like sacrificing for value, and hexproof/indestructible combat tricks to save them from kill/bounce.

emh... no. first i love how a blue card screw the blue player slogan "god forbid interaction". second are we really going to ignore the fact that this mess also with the other players? like player A targeting player B and you need only to cast a 1 mana cantrip to stop player B from being able to responde. funny. really. ban this shit in commander thx
