@itschannel1methedupnews: 🚨 MAJOR UPDATE | FATAL HIT-AND-RUN INVESTIGATION UNDERWAY PENN FOREST TOWNSHIP, CARBON COUNTY — Pennsylvania State Police have released new details following a fatal hit-and-run crash Thursday night, September 17, 2026, on SR 903 near Church Road. According to PSP Fern Ridge, troopers were dispatched to the area at approximately 11:30 PM for a reported fatal hit-and-run. Investigators determined that the victim was operating an ATV when, for reasons that remain unknown, the victim fell from the ATV and ended up in the roadway. While the victim was in the roadway, they were struck by another vehicle, identified by police as Unit #1. The vehicle then fled the scene. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. 🚗 POLICE SEEK WHITE SEDAN State Police are seeking information regarding the fleeing vehicle, which is described as a white sedan. PSP has released an image of the vehicle as part of the investigation. The investigation remains active and involves Pennsylvania State Police Troop N, Fern Ridge Station, along with the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialist Unit and Forensic Services Unit.
