When I was in uni abroad my mom called me every day, in my first year it was 3 times a day. Once I went to the movies so my phone was on silent and she called almost 20 times and was heading to the airport when I called back, I was 19. Sometimes parents are just overbearing and can't accept that their adult children are adults.
