The food here is really good. It’s hard for new businesses to open, especially in the restaurant field, and this isn’t a corporation. It’s a local well known restaurant manager and his chef partner (who is using his Japanese Grandma’s recipe). So I really want to see them succeed. If this feels like it might be your vibe, considering visiting. I would appreciate it.

This is Don’s Rice Bar on Green Valley Parkway. It’s affordable, the portions are huge and everything feels like high end restaurant food but in a counter service environment so it’s low pressure and you can go after you hit the gym and have a bowl loaded with protein.
