Date: 09/19/26 Time: 11:00AM Where: Yonkers What: NY Palestinian Homeowner Reacts to Flag Thug Threat A Yonkers Voice EXCLUSIVE with Mr Samir Nofal Samir Nofal is the owner of 476 Mile Square Road, Yonkers, NY. He is also an American  born Palestinian. Two weeks ago, Nofal decided to increase the number of Palestinian flags on his property from one to a multiple display. Nofal states this was done to bring attention to the war in Gaza and the lack of information relayed to the American public. He also states that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is a war criminal and that over 100,000 Gazans have been killed as a result. Of note is that 2.1 million Palestinians are Israeli citizens and reside in Israel. This is twenty percent of the Israeli population. Upon opening, a threatening note startled him. The note was so intimidating that Nofal was forced to notify Yonkers Police and family friend, Frankie Jereis who is a candidate for the NY State Assembly. The author of the note voiced displeasure with Nofal's flags and alleged that his house was "under surveillance."  The author went further to state that Nofal should return to Palestine. Nofal is an American citizen who was born in the United States. To date, there is no law either local or State that denies Nofal the constitutional right to display the Palestinian flag.
