11 years ago today, I accidentally organised my own engagement photo 😂💍 We were travelling around Brazil and had gone to see Iguazú Falls. We'd had a helicopter ride over the falls that morning and later, at the top of Garganta del Diablo, the tallest and most powerful part of the falls, I asked a complete stranger if they'd take a photo of us. Turns out Kris had been waiting for exactly that opportunity. He got down on one knee and somehow the stranger just kept taking photos, which looking back was VERY impressive for 2015 when nobody documented absolutely everything like we do now 😂 The only slight problem was that the waterfall was so loud and I was so surprised that I didn't actually hear him propose. I just saw him on one knee holding a ring and thought I'd better assume there was a question involved 😂 We'd been together for 3½ years at that point and it had absolutely flown by. Kris had deliberately waited until we were on the Brazilian side of the falls because, although we were staying just across the border in Argentina, he wanted to be able to say he'd proposed to me in Brazil ❤️ Then we went back to Argentina and celebrated with steak. Obviously. It's funny looking at these photos now because this was us before marriage, before becoming parents, before triplets, before any of you knew us as Triplettales. Just Tanya and Kris, having the absolute holiday of our lives and completely unaware of everything that was coming next. 11 years engaged today ❤️
