@ridewithpurpose_: Today I brought my daughter and her friend out for a ride on Onyx. The girls rode double while I walked in front, getting my steps in as we made our way down to the river. As soon as we got there, they jumped off and started catching frogs, tadpoles and minnows… just being kids. ❤️ I sat back enjoying a little nature therapy while Onyx stood there keeping a close eye on them the entire time, almost like he knew it was his job to make sure they were safe. And for a moment, it took me right back to my own childhood. My sister or one of my friends would come out, we’d ride double on our horses, and just have fun being kids. No phones. No screens. No distractions. Just horses, nature, adventure and memories being made. Now I get to watch my daughter make those same kinds of memories. Funny how life comes full circle. Give me muddy boots, frogs, horses, rivers and childhood adventures over screens any day of the year. These are the days they’ll remember. ❤️🐴 #friesian #childhoodmemories #horsebackriding #naturestherapy #peace
