@texank9: Muzzle stand with Donatello 13 weeks old. I like to use this muzzle stand at the beginning of training as a cognitive exercise that encourages the dog to think, problem-solve, and make decisions on his own. At the same time, it helps create a positive association with the muzzle. The positioning of the muzzle also encourages the dog to naturally offer behaviors such as a sit, stand or down. As the dog learns to maintain those positions while staying engaged with the muzzle, the exercise can also help build position stability and duration. What I love most about this exercise is that the dog figures it all out on his own. No commands, no physical guidance, and no handler showing him what to do. He experiments, makes choices, and discovers what works through pure free shaping. #belgianmalinois #malinois #dogsoftiktok #dog #puppy
