@taraconway2005: 📍 The Flume — Lincoln, NH Located in Franconia Notch State Park, The Flume is a self-guided, one-way trail featuring waterfalls, wooden boardwalks, 800+ stairs, towering moss-covered granite walls, two charming covered bridges, ferns, fallen leaves, and an optional tight squeeze through “Wolf’s Den.” It honestly feels like you’re walking through a peaceful rainforest. 🌿💦 🚗 Parking is free 🎟️ Tickets: $21 per person 📝 A few things to know: We hiked the trail on September 17, 2026. The leaves were just beginning to change, and water levels were lower, creating smaller waterfalls than you might typically see in the spring. Our watches tracked us at 2.62 miles with about 685 feet of elevation gain. That includes the walk from the parking lot to the end of the trail, plus a few of the branch-offs to the viewing areas, just to give you a realistic expectation of the hike. ⭐️ My rating: 4/5 Would I recommend it?
