I’m 63 and a retired teacher. I stayed home with my kids for nine years when they were small and then went back to work once they started school. I am not an ultra conservative. I think your opinion is kind of silly. I was fortunate to be able to stay home. Money was very very very tight. I think women should support women whatever their choices are.

Most are not on the internet talking about their life. Where I live there are a lot of tradwifes who have never worked outside the home in their 50s 60s. They make money here and there with their own little from home business they started when their kids got older.

Maybe because I live in rural America but, the majority of women around here at 47 are still home and happy. On our community clubs, foster care givers, coaches, church boards, school volunteers, ect. Maybe its just the people you are around? Not many divorced people out here either.

54 here !!! So blessed to "retire" from my real career when our daughter was born at 34. I have worked a bit here and there while she was young. But I would NEVER trade that time I had with my daughter raising and loving her !!!

I'm 40, and I don't really consider myself a tradwife, but I am a homeschool mom because our public schools where we live are terrible. I have a Masters degree, and when my kids are old enough to stay home by themselves a couple of days a week, I'm going back to teaching at the college level. I don't want my husband shouldering all the financial burdens forever. I worked hard for my degree, and I intend to use it again.

I’m 55 and have not worked since my first child was born. I have my masters in special education and worked before we had kids. I could go back to teaching if I wished, but I don’t. I love my life and wouldn’t change a thing!

I’m 43. I was a stay at home mom before it was cool. Now my kids are almost/all the way grown. I have a career now because I want to. We bring in well into 6 figures. I don’t have a degree and it’s going great.

42. Mom of 3. Oldest is 22. I earned college degree when I was pregnant with my first. became a sahm immediately after for 15 years of my marriage. My youngest is now 16. With no real job history the skills I gained as a sahm were not useless. I was able to promote fairly quickly to now a nice salary within a couple years. Didn’t need too but my time wasn’t needed at home as much but I have no interest climbing the corporate ladder. Main Financial responsibility lies with my husband and the mental load of the household still lies with me. Married 23 years!
