My dad and my papaw and my cousin in law and a lot of people my dad and papaw knew were Freemasons. And I have asked questions since I was little. I’ve always been a curious person so I’ve never stopped asking questions over the years and still to this day no one will tell me anything about it. My dad just says it’s not what people think it is. And I struggle with that answer bc wtf!? My family are all God fearing people and always have been. I do know that my papaw was in it a lot deeper than my dad ever was but I still think it’s a bit shady. My cousin in law quit as soon as he joined the church and gave his life over to Christ and never went back. That was a big red flag for me and I’ll probably never stop asking my dad questions. I have my papaws rings and hat and everything from his chapter after he passed away.
