My old job use to have alot of useless mass meetings. Someone called the Fire Marshall and reported it was over capacity. 😳 That was the end of that.

I commented on your original post with my own situation with something similar to this. The second you send something IN WRITING and with proof, they will always take it seriously and immediately show up cause there’s evidence. So if something god forbid happened and they never showed up prior, you’d have the date/time in which you told them, that’s a huge lawsuit for the gym and fire marshal. It’s good you emailed instead of calling 👍🏼 Sad we even have to do that instead of gym owners having literal common sense to fire/emergency safety. SMH.

When I was in high school they tried to chain the doors shut to keep us in. I reported the school to the fire marshal, doors were never chained again

They need to add an emergency gate in the backyard area you mentioned. If there was a fire or emergency and people have to go back inside to then get out is insane.
