Same. Us old folks aren’t stupid. I voted Conservative my entire life until the last federal election. No way could I vote in PP. Truth be told, I voted for Mark Carney. This country needed him no matter which party he was leader of.

My 83 year old dad has also voted conservative his whole life. He was raised in Alberta although left in the late 60’s he still felt the federal government did them wrong. However he sees PP for what he was and feels Daniel Smith is a traitor. He voted Liberal in the last Federal election. I’m so proud of him.

Ontario is basically Red Tory by temperament. Doug Ford keeps the far right in his party at bay. Meanwhile the provincial Liberals can’t get their act together. The NDP shoots itself in the foot constantly. So Carney by being both competent and centrist.
