The lidocaine patches are also good to help with kidney stones. On one of our last cruises, the day we were boarding, my husband had a kidney stone flair up. It was a 7 day cruise. He had a patch for everyday (because his wife is extra). Passed the stone the morning we got off the ship. He said that was the least amount of pain he'd ever had during a kidney stone passage, lol.
