My son is 21 months and I still have days where I feel this exact same grief. 🥺 I try to remind myself that every day with them is such a blessing, and that there are still so many versions of both my daughter and son that I haven’t even met yet, and honestly, I find that so exciting. I try not to think of it as saying goodbye to the baby versions of them, but as saying hello to all the new versions that are still to come. They’re constantly becoming these new little people, and we get the privilege of meeting each version along the way. And no matter how big they get, how old they are, or how much they change… they will always be our babies.
