You speaking slowly truly helps. I can catch the words in English that I don’t know, and correlate them to the Spanish ones. I learned three new words cada vez y lógicamente

so glad to have stumbled upon this! I was a stay at home mom for 18 years in an abusive marriage. when I left, he cut me off from everything....so I needed a job. now I'm a TA ina. kindergarten class......and on Day #2, we got a precious little guy that speaks no English and now he spends every day with me trying to translate for him. I used to be a French major in college, but when I switched to Psychology and stopped French, I took a little Spanish (bc it's similar to French). now he's dependent on me to teach him to read and interact... and I'm desperately trying to revive and build on the little Spanish I knew 20 years ago, because he is bright, smart, willing and deserves to have a learning environment where he feels heard and understood. ❤️❤️

Guys, no, my adhd cannot! Just go talk to Hispanic elderly people (if you need it slowed down)or like 4-5 year olds if you have limited vocabulary (they LOVE teaching you words and how to pronounce them)

That was amazing. When you speak slowly it’s easier to sort through what the translation is. I understood maybe a third of the words. What a beautiful way to start learning. Thank you!

Well, there were translation captions, so I understood everything, but you spoke slowly enough for my brain to register both, which was really cool. I have more invested into learning French, but I grew up with a tiny bit of Spanish spoken in my home. (Born in California). I’ll follow along!

I scrolled a little bit but I didn't see anyone follow the from 1 to 10 instruction LOL I'm saying 9. There are some words in there I didn't know, but I knew enough to understand everything you were saying. Had you been speaking at your most comfortable speed, I don't know that I would have understood though
