Do yourself a favor and avoid almost every place that people tik tok about. As a local the good stuff isn’t what people know about. Pack in layers. New york will do you dirty and change the weather half way at through the day. Take the train and buses. See the famous landmarks… they’re famous for a reason. Best cookie is culture espresso in midtown. Also the amount of walking you’re gonna do. Don’t waste your time going above and beyond in an outfit you’ll be uncomfortable in/cold or hot in. And for the love of god do not stop in the middle of the sidewalk.

went last year and going again, tbh it was freezing cold compared to TX weather, but I used boots, skirts, long sleeves, long long socks, beanies etc. & ILL be doing the same thing this year! Tights help you feel warmer, and a bunch of layering! 💋💋🤎

I just wore jeans and a long sleeve. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes (I just walked 6 miles) and I say definitely hit up grand central, Rockefeller, soho, and I wouldn’t worry too much about Times Square

time square is actually so underwhelming, it’s full of scammers, take cash for canal street and talk your way low to your max spend (ex $20 up to $40) and wear comfortable shoes bc you will be walking 20k steps a day regardless

Dare I say skip Times Square. Little Italy, nolita, Central Park is always a must, just go north because the southern portion is more touristy, north woods, the pool, conservatory garden all awesome spots in Central Park! SoHo, west village, Greenwich village are all amazing, with the time you’ll be there. Seeing Brooklyn heights in fall is a must! Rosecrans florist & cafe is literally a coffee shop and flower shop in 1. Have so much fun!!!
