It’s apricot glaze! (I work in the Costco bakery) if you go in early morning you can ask one of the bakery workers if there are any they haven’t glazed yet😁we do it pretty early though so I’d say try to get there around store open!

Wiping off the apricot glaze that helps keep it from drying out just to add paper towel fuzz & any bits of dust, lint, hair, etc that has stuck to the paper towel? Just call ahead & order a pie that isn't glazed
