well us muslims got an answer to this question its because life is temporary and we are here to worship allah (god) and build a place for ourselves in the hereafter in jannah (paradise) so we can live eternity in paradise with all our loved ones with no sadness pain or death in the hereafter also a goal of mine is to enter paradise and see the creator of everything allah (god) and talk to him and see who was always with me in my ups and downs and this is a verse in our holy book (qura’n) that gives a simple answer to this question of why are we here (Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving;) [67:2] also i hope you find the answer you are looking for 💕
