I am the breadwinner that works 65/70 hours a week. My wife works part time. We also have 4 kids. We are partners she isn’t my subordinate. We both pull are weight at home and with our 4 kids. Just because my job pass the bills doesn’t mean I don’t have to do house work and taking care of our children. I am more than just a paycheck.

OMG… I had the perfect husband and that’s what it was. He was the leader by the way his decision on how he took care of everything emotionally and physically and mentally but he passed away and now I have to do everything by myself 😭🙏I’m a widow now

I was a traditional wife, I stayed home and raised my 4 children while he worked. As soon as my youngest was 5 I started working full time, plus still raising my children. I was told by my husband that the money I brought in was nothing compared to what he made. I was working longer and harder than him but whatever he did was always more important. We are divorced now

A man who has to claim leadership isn't a leader in the 1st place. He sees the household as a hierarchy system in which he is entitled to be at the very top all the time. Simply for being a man. With or without leadership skills. Without or without 50-50. Sometimes, with or without a job! Anything less and he feels "emasculated" That's toxic patriarchal conditioning and some women don't want any of that in their life.

Even in the animal kingdom, they undertand it better than humans od today. For example, a lion pride family.
