This game is so bittersweet. You play the whole game trying to help him find his memories, he finds love again, finds a purpose to live and fight that’s more than just himself. He becomes a true hero in this game, just for him to forget at the end what he did for that stuff to happen. This game is beautiful in the way it can show the hype and “badass”-ery of Wolverine, and at the same time highlight the pain, sorrow, and his desire to become a better person.

Such a beautiful game. Anyone who says the old story was better is crazy. This story actually made you feel something, not just the ups and awesomeness of Wolverine, but also the struggles, yearning, and loneliness of Logan. No matter how close he gets with someone it can never last. Then making it something he has lived in so many lives just made it hurt even more. As if heartbreak didn’t hurt enough, Logan has to get hurt even more than already is, and experience it across many lifetimes.
