TikTok live recap. #creditscore #foreclosurehelp #foreclosures #foreclosure
The video was recorded inside a veterinary hospital in Colorado. The man holding the dog is 39-year-old Lieutenant Aaron Briggs of the Colorado Police Department. Resting in his arms is Ace, an 11-year-old Belgian Malinois who spent nine years working beside him as his K9 partner. For eight months, Ace had been living with a severe neurological illness that gradually worsened. The veterinarian responsible for the department’s dogs had managed his treatment from the beginning, speaking openly with Aaron about what to expect as the disease advanced. A month earlier, Ace could no longer finish his usual morning walks. By two weeks ago, his eating had become irregular. During the past week, he had needed assistance just to get out of bed. On Thursday, Aaron arranged an appointment with the hospital’s veterinary team. His shift commander learned about it the following morning and offered to bring fellow officers for support. Aaron wanted only one other person beside him. He chose his wife, Denise. At Aaron’s request, she used her phone to record their final moments together. He wanted to preserve the memory and make sure he wouldn’t be the only one carrying Ace’s story afterward. In the recording, Aaron sits in Cornerstone’s comfort room, an area set aside for end-of-life care. The lights are gentle, and a blanket lies across the floor. Ace is stretched over Aaron’s lap, leaning his head into his partner’s arm. His breaths are faint and unhurried. On the way to the hospital, he had scarcely managed to raise his head. Dr. Cho came in without disturbing the quiet. Aaron began reassuring Ace. He said there was nothing to fear, that no one could have wished for a better partner, and that he could finally stop fighting. What happened next almost caused Denise to lose her grip on the phone. With obvious difficulty, Ace began lifting his front legs. Little by little, he brought both paws up until they rested against Aaron’s shoulders. He kept them there. Aaron froze, then lowered his face to meet Ace’s head. Dr. Cho paused and moved back, giving them space. She remained still. Only the sound of Aaron breathing broke the silence. Describing what she witnessed, Denise said Ace had hardly been capable of moving and had needed help standing for days. Yet somehow, he had managed to reach up and rest his paws on Aaron’s shoulders. Aaron simply wrapped his arms around him. Denise said she couldn’t keep recording. Please follow my page, like and share for updates.. one love family..
