My Instagram/FB account (@siznart) got permanently disabled today after posting this video speaking about unfair situation getting my booth blocked at a recent convention, resulting me in a great financial loss. Years of artwork, messages, memories, progress, and connections were suddenly wiped overnight by an automated system due to certain people who reported this video. After I spoke publicly about the convention incident where my booth was blocked and I suffered major financial loss from it, I lost my +10 years old professional account which honestly makes this situation feel even worse. The post I made about the convention incident was never intended to target, harass, or encourage hate toward any individual or organization. I specifically avoided blaming either the convention itself or the other artist involved. My focus was on concerns regarding proxy/vendor hall management, how situations like this can negatively affect small artists and businesses, and broader community safety concerns such as blocked walkways, fire hazards, and ADA accessibility. The intention behind speaking up was to raise awareness about issues that can impact both artists and attendees within convention spaces, not to create harassment. I have never used bots, fake engagement, impersonation, or anything spam-related. I’m literally just an artist posting my work. Right now I’m trying every possible way to reach a real human review by Meta, because this honestly feels completely unfair and devastating for a small artist account.
