@trustinthelordthygod1: Guard Your Heart Against Entitlement. Entitlement is dangerous because it convinces you that somebody owes you the life you desire. “My parents should have done more. My boss should have promoted me. My friends should have helped me. People should recognize me.” And when they don't, entitlement produces anger, offense and bitterness. Be grateful for what people do for you, but don't build your life around what you believe they owe you. Some people are angry with their parents because they compare their lives with people who received houses, businesses or inheritance. But comparison can make you despise sacrifices you never understood. Guard your heart. Take responsibility. Grow. Work. Pray. Trust God. Receive help with gratitude, not expectation.
