@science.nature: Meet Mohammad Aziz: The 72-year-old bookseller who has read over 5,000 books in Arabic, French and English For more than 43 years, Mohammad Aziz has been surrounded by books. The 72-year-old bookseller, who lives and works in Rabat, Morocco, reportedly spends between six and eight hours every day reading, with more than 5,000 books said to have passed through his hands as a reader. His reading spans Arabic, French and English, reflecting a lifelong passion for knowledge that goes far beyond simply selling books. Aziz has reportedly kept his books displayed outside his shop, despite the possibility that some could be stolen. When asked about it, he gave an unforgettable response: “Those who cannot read do not steal books, and those who read books are not thieves.” His words have made his story even more memorable—a bookseller who has spent decades not only selling knowledge, but also continuously consuming it himself. After more than four decades in the same profession, Aziz has become known for his remarkable dedication to books, reading and learning. 📖❤️ If you had access to 5,000 books, how many do you think you could read? #CampusReformNigeria
