This actually happened to my coworker, he’s part of a delivery team and literally wields and fixes all our gear. The HR team wanted to buy McDonald’s breakfast for all the delivery team staff, which he is a part of, and was told to go into the break room with the rest of the delivery team. Everyone got a McDonald’s breakfast plate except him, even the HR girls got themselves breakfast. When they realized he was the only one without one they didn’t even make an excuse like they counted short or offered to buy him lunch instead. He was really upset and all my coworkers were like “it’s just McDonald’s idk why he is mad”. I was super pissed because I just thought it was disrespectful and an insult to him. They never made it up to him either.
