@peaksandpubs: Big serving of Irish humble pie (no trending audio needed)🥧 From a recent trip to the Wes coast of Ireland, myself and a few friends took on the Glencoaghan Loop to bag a bunch of Bens. We’d definitely not done our research as we were quickly humbled by the scale of this beastly route. 17KM of tough terrain, serious elevation gain & loss between peaks, false summit after false summit, and weather that was about as consistent as Manchester United’s results. It took us 9 hours to see it off, and it was safe to say we weren’t on great terms with any Ben by the end. Proper character building day out. But WHAT a hike. One of the best and most memorable outings of the year for me, and I couldn’t recommend it enough. #hike #Outdoors #humbled #ireland #funny
