I came back to Kyrgyzstan for the World Nomad Games 2026… and honestly, it was SO worth it. 🇰🇬 This was my first time experiencing the Games, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a powerful display of culture, heritage, tradition, and sport brought together in one place❤️ From bone breaking and strongman competitions to horseback archery, eagle hunting, mas wrestling, traditional horse games, and so many disciplines I had never even heard of before, every event made me realize just how much history and identity can live within a sport🐎 But what stayed with me most wasn’t even the competition. It was seeing people proudly celebrate where they come from🌍 Being surrounded by nomadic traditions, music, clothing, food, crafts, and stories reminded me how beautiful it is when culture isn’t just preserved in museums, it’s alive, practiced, celebrated, and passed on🙌🏼 And strangely, it made me feel even more proud of my own roots. 🇳🇴🇵🇭 It inspired me to keep sharing my own culture with the world, too because there is so much beauty in the traditions we sometimes take for granted. The World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan are so much more than a sporting event. They’re a celebration of the cultures and traditions that shaped communities across the world🌍🇰🇬🦅🐎🙌🏼 And I’m so glad I came back to Kyrgyzstan to witness it. 🐎🏹 Have you ever experienced a cultural festival that completely changed the way you saw your own heritage? #WorldNomadGames #WorldNomadGames2026 #Kyrgyzstan #KyrgyzstanTravel #centralasia
