I always use magic when I go into new fights cus it lowers the amount of mechanics you have to contend with to learn the fight I also recommend not using fire magic as dragons are generally strong to fire

A few things I spotted. First, raids aren't meant to be solo'd easily, find some friends. Second, bows hit harder than magic. Third, bring high level food. Filling meals heal for 70 at base. Forth and fifth. Antipoisons and the Dodge roll will save your life.

Personal opinion use melee. Drink the lesser attack potion (makes melee attacks crit. Eat or drink something that increases hit points. Use the spell shield, then use the air enchantment to increase attack speed. Always block or dodge. Jump and dash in-out of the poison.

Just use range air damage is more effective and dodge his attacks he’s only got 2 then an Ariel bomber one I killed him first try super easy

Bro dodge. The iframes you get from rolling on console are insane. Learn to dodge and equip anti poison pots. Also I’m not seeing any good healing food in the fast bar you need to get on that some of them heal like a 100 hp

what gear do you have? seems like you aren't doing a lot of dmg makes me think your weapons aren't the level you need to fight him efficiently

you're using fire magic on a dragon lol. Velgar is the easiest of all the bosses with only 3 move sets. I recommend using air and dodging if you use sword you can get 3 hits each time he swings. be patient

He ain’t so bad, take your time with it. Use Range or Mage and keep a distance. Focus on avoiding the acid wave by jumping and heavy striding to a side, while the rock blast roll when it gets close. Pick at the HP slowly w/ those steps 💪 Bring lots of food. Also get comfortable with using the quick slot menu vs opening it manually. Hope this helps!
