Very true on the extra charge.. however i will still recommend binding it. In my case i have my gcash, maribank and metrobank travel sig cc binded in alipay.. after 2 days in China ayaw na tanggapin ni Didi any payments from Gcash so i had to select maribank for payment (cheaper compared to my metrobank) you can always set the order of priority payments naman so choose gcash as your prio

You can use yung mismong gcash app (QR payment). Pwede rin Gotyme i-connect if want mo gamitin Alipay or Wechat pay.
